CMS200 Portable Water and Air Analysis/Monitoring System
Fast, Accurate, Reliable Results
The INFICON CMS200 Portable Water and Air Analysis/Monitoring System uses gas chromatograph (GC) technology to quickly and accurately analyze water and air samples on site and on time.
CMS200 performs complex analyses under the most demanding conditions. It eliminates long waits for sample results from off-site laboratories. Being able to immediately obtain laboratory-quality results right in the field provides the answers you need to make better and faster decisions about potentially critical issues. Concentrations ranging from low part-per-trillion to high part-per-million can be accurately measured and reported-within minutes.
Detector and sample inlet options make the CMS200 exceptionally flexible. It handles applications rangin from source water protection and early alert for water contamination, to fence line air monitoring and testing for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in cooling tower water. it also detects toxic industrial chemicals (TICs) and chemical warfare agents (CWAs)-a valuable feature in this time of heightened security concerns.
Advanced Technology Yields Lab-Quality Water Analyses
The CMS200 rapidly analyzes VOCs in water using a modified EPA purge and trap protocol. This is made possible by the state-of-the-art SituProbe, which performs the purge in the water. No pumps, valves or cells are exposed to the water matrix, eliminating the need for sample pretreatment or filtration. Since the sample matrix does not affect the system's performance, even difficult water samples can be analyzed with ease.
Convenient and Flexible
Using CMS200 for on-site monitoring is simple, reliable, and requires minimum maintenance. The results are displayed, stored or retrieved in computerized format. The flexible and portable design makes CMS200 easy to move from one location to the next to perform spot analyses or multiple on-line analyses.
